Skewers recipe - day 3

May Holidays in Russia: anything goes!

In Russia, May holidays are a big deal. The weather gets warmer, people spend more time outside, and everyone is ready to relax. Many families go to the dacha, the park, or the countryside. It’s the perfect time to chill out and enjoy spring.

And of course, it’s barbecue season! Russians love making shashlik—grilled food cooked over an open fire. Meat is super popular, but it’s not just about meat. You can grill chicken, fish, sausages, vegetables, mushrooms, and even fruit. Pretty much anything tastes great on the grill. Good food, fresh air, and great company—that’s what May holidays are all about!
