Tips and Itinerary Ideas
The Louvre Museum in Paris is full of amazing art and history. It was once a royal palace and now holds famous works like the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. With so many things to see, it's important to plan out your visit.
Start your day early and get off at the Palais Royal–Musée du Louvre metro station. This underground entrance is quicker and less crowded than the main pyramid entrance.
Begin with the Denon Wing to see the Mona Lisa and large French paintings. Then move to the Sully Wing for ancient Egyptian treasures. After that, visit the Richelieu Wing to explore sculpture and decorative arts.
Try to spend 2–3 hours in total so you don’t feel too tired. Don’t forget to stop by the museum café or gift shop before leaving!
You can also download an app called Le walk (audio guide) and book your tickets online and be late around 20 minutes, so you will miss the line.
