The Lantern Mystery (Part 3)

Inside the forest, the trees seemedto whisper as the lantern’s blue light flickered. Mei Ling followed the glow until she found a shredded piece of red fabric. It looked like part of a traditional lion dance costume.
Suddenly, she heard the sound of drums, though the festival was miles away. The drumming grew louder, and glowing red eyes appeared between the trees. She turned around—but no one was there.
