Everybody knew the love Marc Anthony had for Greek culture. Therefore, Cleopatra approached the city by sailing in a golden boat with purple sails. As sensual music played, the Queen reclined, dressed as Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Her servants were dressed as sea nymphs. But even that was not shocking enough for Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt.
