Galette



For the dough:
  • 100 gr unsalted butter (from a fridge)
  • 60 gr cottage cheese (9%) or cream cheese
  • 40 gr powdered sugar
  • 150 gr flour
  • a pinch of salt and vanilla
Filling
  • 300-400 gr of fruits or berries
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • spices of your choice (cardamon, cinnamon, nuts)
Ingredients :
Preheat oven to 180 C (bake for 25 -30 minutes)
  • Cut your cold butter into a small pieces
  • Flour+ powdered sugar+cold butter mix until it sticks together add cottage cheese (or cream cheese) add vanilla and salt mix a little bit together (put it in the fridge for 30 minutes)
  • Roll your dough not very thin on your baking paper
  • mix your filling put it on top of your dough cover your filling with the dough (like on the picture)
*Optional beat one egg and smooth over your galette before baking
