Overheating in Andalusia
Andalusia, a region in southern Spain, has very hot summers. In recent years, temperatures have risen even more because of climate change. Some cities in Andalusia, like Seville and Córdoba, often reach over 40°C. This heat is dangerous for people, animals, and plants. It also causes more wildfires and makes life difficult for farmers.
To fight this problem, people are planting more trees in cities to create shade. Some buildings now use white paint on roofs to reflect the sun. These small changes can lower the temperature at least 2-3 degrees down.
