The Bauble Mystery

It was Christmas Eve, and Lucy was decorating the tree with shiny baubles when she noticed one was missing. She searched everywhere—under the couch, behind the presents—until she heard a jingling noise. Turning around, she saw her mischievous cat, Whiskers, playing with it. Suddenly, he sent it flying across the room, where it landed perfectly on the tree’s highest branch. “I guess Whiskers just wanted to help!” Lucy laughed, deciding the cat had an eye for design.
