Lesson 7. Da Vinci.

Before we read the text, what famous paintings of Da Vinci do you know? How many have you seen?

Please read the text about this famous artist (focus on words in bold):

The Mysterious Life of Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci was not just a painter—he was an inventor, scientist, and genius ahead of his time. He painted the famous Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, but if you look closely at his works, you will notice hidden symbols and mysteries. Some believe he was part of secret society, and if this is true, his paintings will continue to spark curiosity for centuries.

Da Vinci’s notebooks were filled with ideas for flying machines, war inventions, and even robots. If his designs had been built earlier, they would have changed the world much sooner. He also studied human anatomy in secret. If the church had discovered his studies, he would have been in serious trouble.

Even today, if you see his artworks, you will feel the mystery surrounding him. Leonardo da Vinci was a man of many secrets, and if we continue to study his work, we will uncover even more.
